amanda, the coolest ever wife & mom, with a brick & mortar shop in asheville, nc, started online with an etsy shop a mere 3 years ago & now bake me pretty has its own dedicated web presence selling the coolest supplies for those of us who love to bake.

running in stilettos ~ in the midst of a creative process

we are working hard to get ready for an open house tomorrow night where we will be test-driving 2 new services: a sweet treat buffet & a photo booth. we will share pictures of the event next week, but here are some pics of the creative process as we develop the sweet treat buffet ~

the apothecary jar on the far right, front has been used for my labradoodle’s treats, the one in the back has been in my master bath & is filled with soaps & the one in the left back is filled with shells ~ this is how it was styled before ~

here are today’s pics as we develop the color story & figure out how many pounds of candy each jar holds ~

we have had more than one eyebrow raised at us as we pay for all this candy. the fresh market just got in their salt water taffy ~ that is what is in the blue jar ~ & there is at least one more trip there as we tweak this project out.
